Joe’s journey through dance started when he moved to California in 2005. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area allowed him to connect with many renowned and experienced dance groups like Machine Gone Funk, Soul Sector, and Head Hunters. After joining Soul Sector and taking the name “Boy Wonder” in 2008, Joe dedicated himself to learning and practicing many different street dance styles, specifically Popping, Strutting, and Hip Hop. As a member of Soul Sector, Joe has also travelled internationally for performances, battles, and even teaching. During his travels, Joe has taken the time to learn from any and every OG he could get in contact with.

For Joe, dance is not just a hobby or form of entertainment. It is more like a second, universal language, granting the ability to freely create powerful visual and interactive stories. Dance is a form of communication and fosters learning from other peoples and cultures, no matter their differences. Joe’s goal with dance is simple: to create and share. By applying and combining all he has learned, he hopes to create the perfect blend of every style he knows in order to inspire and motivate others, as well as share the knowledge and information he has acquired and developed through his travels and training. “
