Miles “”Telos”" Toland is a Northwest new media artist innovating a unique genre of painting involving LED lights and video projections. He manipulates light to push and pull the colors and shapes on his paintings to explore deeper narratives.
Toland’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums through out the west coast of the United States including Currents New Media Festival in Santa Fe; Gallery 4N5 in San Fransico; and The Bemis Building in Seattle. Some of his side projects and commissions can be seen scattered on walls amongst the Seattle streets.
Toland was born in Santa Fe, NM, in 1990 and recently received his B.F.A. from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA in the spring 2013.
